Meet the Kinders....

It's the Not Back to school Blog hop this week... Meeting the Students!

Not Back to School Blog Hop

Here are our little monkey's!
2011-2012

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.  Deuteronomy 6:6-9

KT:

Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who live him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

JT

Psalms 127:3-5 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

This is my special Verse this season:

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

I can't homeschool these kinders on my own. I can look like I have it all together, I can plan the whole year, have a pretty cool school room;
But I can't do this without Jesus to help me EVERYDAY.

....Begining this school year without my husband...again. There are days when I really think I can't do this anymore... But then I remember, that my hope and dependancy is not in Man.. but in Christ. And together we will take it Day by day.
(only 5 more months out of the 19  till he returns for good!)   =)

Do you have a verse for this school year? Please share it!

Thanks for stopping by, Have a Wonderful School Year! Whatever your hands find to do , do it with all your might. Ecclesiastes 9:10

What a beautiful post and so true what you said. Homeschooling is a partnership with Jesus and even when we make grand plans and think everything is in our control, it isn't and we just have to trust the Lord in everything! Have a wonderful new school year. I look forward to getting a peek into all your great adventures.

These are the most creative and fun "not" back to school pictures I've seen! I love the desk being outside and the chalkboard...cute ideas! The kids in the pictures are even cuter!

P.S. His grace is sufficient. The verse you've chosen to encourage you this year is such a perfect one.

Just noticed you are also using FIAR. This is our first year and I am really looking forward to it. May I ask what you mean (over in your curriculum page) about spelling list with FIAR?
